After Sanlirynth, Villaranth is the second university with such a distinguished lineage and such carefully tended academic traditions. As with Sanlirynth, it took this institution many years of trial and error to reach maturity. But where in mathematics that principle is paid for with time and intellectual effort, in Villaranth the currency also included human lives.
Villaranth is sometimes called the Last Haven, and that is essentially true. If the Savants of Villaranth cannot cure an ailment, then probably no one on the continent can. A grim conclusion, but an honest one.
